Community platform in development

Planetnik Cloud

An atmospheric observation network designed to be visible and useful to people.

We are building a distributed network of StormNode devices that observe local weather conditions, storm activity and the sky. Planetnik Cloud will be the community space where these observations meet on a single map.

Pilot network map

This is the first preview of the view that will become the main Planetnik Cloud community map. We show the planned pilot across different regions of Poland without pretending that live data is already being published.

Planetnik Cloud

What will be here

A single community layer above the device network, designed to present data clearly without exposing the technical backend.

Network map

StormNode locations, node status and observation coverage in one view.

Weather data

Temperature, humidity and pressure presented as local measurements and trends.

Storm activity

Events detected by StormNode together with their temporal and spatial context.

Sky images

Selected photographs from devices and field observations linked to place and time.

From sensor to map

One network. Two layers.

The Planetnik Thunder operations backend and the future community platform use the same foundations, while presenting the data in completely different ways.

Planetnik Cloud will receive only data intended for publication. Administrative and diagnostic information remains outside the community layer.

We are building it together

The same sky. More points of view.

Planetnik is growing as a network of people, devices and local observations. If you can host a StormNode, help with the project or simply follow its progress, you are in the right place.
