We keep privacy as simple as possible: no advertising, no profiling and no external analytics tools. Below we explain what technical data may be generated while using planetnik.cloud.
We store only the local choice made in the privacy notice: accepted or rejected. The choice is stored in the browser localStorage under the key planetnik_cookie_choice_v1.
Both choices are used only to remember the decision and hide the notice. Accepting does not enable advertising, profiling or marketing analytics.
Like most websites, the server may store standard technical logs such as IP address, request date and time, visited URL, HTTP method, response code, response size, browser type and error information.
These data are used for security, diagnostics, abuse prevention and service maintenance.
The community map uses OpenStreetMap tiles and Leaflet is currently delivered via unpkg. The Planetnik Cloud home page no longer plays storm ambience. Real storm recordings from Wikimedia Commons are used only on the Storm Room page. If the browser blocks autoplay, fetching and playback continue after the user’s first interaction. When these resources are loaded, the browser connects directly to those servers, so their operators may receive standard connection data, in particular the IP address. Storm audio can be muted at any time on the Storm Room page.
Planetnik Cloud does not use these connections for user profiling. The delivery method may change in the future as the platform develops.
We do not run advertisements, marketing pixels or external analytics systems on planetnik.cloud. We do not sell visitor data and do not build advertising profiles.
You can reopen the notice and change your saved choice at any time. You can also clear site data in your browser settings.
